Favorite activities include strolling The Strand, discovering and patronizing small businesses or unique eateries, and sailing Santa Monica Bay, among many others. Steve’s passion for the South Bay lifestyle is even more striking, given he’s an avid traveler who has experienced many beautiful locales across the globe, including Singapore, Jakarta, Taiwan, Japan, Italy and Hawaii, where he developed his fascination with the Aloha Shirt. “I feel the South Bay Lifestyle is truly world class,” explains Steve.

Steve’s road to becoming a respected Realtor® serving South Bay residents is quite an interesting path. His earliest dream was to become a commercial airline pilot. He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation. Recruited by a national airline, he accrued hundreds of hours of flight time, but the Gulf War and the prevailing economic conditions called for a course correction. Steve’s professional career took him into the corporate world. He worked in the financial field, then progressed to Fortune 100 companies as both a Product Manager and a Project Manager. He developed strategies for rolling out new products and services into complex and competitive markets. While helping bring new products to market, Steve completed a series of post-graduate executive education programs in Marketing and Finance at MIT’s Sloan School of Management. After being bitten by the startup bug, Steve went on to attend a number of Startup Weekend events, subsequently creating and leading a tech startup that was an early pioneer in the proximity coupon and marketing space. Steve appreciates that the entrepreneurial spirit is alive in the South Bay.
